Meet Your Course Instructor, Andy Perenick

Andy joined Lamacchia Realty in July 2024 following the merger with Berkshire Dream Home. He currently serves as a Broker Associate at the Lamacchia Realty Dalton location. Andy’s professional journey didn’t begin in real estate. After graduating from Saint Anselm College in 1998 with a degree in Criminal Justice, he started his career as a police officer in Hampton, NH, and Winchester, MA. In 2004, Andy transitioned into real estate as a buyer’s agent, quickly establishing himself as a top-producing agent in Berkshire County. In 2014, he left his previous franchise to start his own company, Berkshire Dream Home Real Estate. Over the next decade, Andy transformed his small start-up, which began in his garage, into the leading real estate company in Berkshire County for sales transactions. Andy’s company achieved this milestone through his relentless energy and commitment to client satisfaction, attracting like-minded agents who shared his dedication to exceptional customer service. Throughout his career, Andy has been an active member and a leader in the Berkshire County Board of Realtors for over a decade serving as the president of the MLS (three times) and is the 2025 President of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors. When he founded Berkshire Dream Home, he began with just one administrative staff member and three agents. His focus on long-term relationships and client satisfaction, which he refers to as a “crock-pot” approach, allowed his business to thrive.
